If you love delicious food and spirits/drinks, Encinitas is the place for you. Union Kitchen & Tap is a rustic but chic eatery serving rotating craft beers and delectable small plates. For a 1920s setting with a varied menu of American eats and lively entertainment every night, head to The Roxy Encinitas. If you like to support local and family-run restaurants, try Fish 101 Leucadia, where a husband-and-wife chef duo prepare local sustainably caught fish in an assortment of dishes and styles. Another family spot is Swami’s Cafe, where the hospitality is warm and menu unique (the breakfast Benedicts are yummy).
